Big Sam climbs above West Ham.
Getting a load of stick about this.

"West Ham part company with a great manager for a European fancy Dan.

Now big Sam is showing us what we're missing.

West Ham should have kept him on etc. etc."

That's the gist of it. Really wound up about Palace getting above West Ham.

Hope we finish the season strong.

Lucien Favre at Nice would be my choice if Bilic got Canned.

Same with the Wenger Out mob.

"Enough is enough, time to go, Arsen."

"Who do you want to replace him with, then?"

"I dunno. Someone genius, that will make us perfect instead of merely very very good."

Re: Big Sam climbs above West Ham.
Trevor B, yep I agree. But if your opinion was Bilic out, who would you want in that's all I'm saying...I said that to someone the other day who wants him out and he said he had no idea who'd replace him..

i want bilic to stay and do well, but people are allowed their opinions if they feel he isn't showing enough to retain his job. it's the boards job to pick the manager, not the fans.

hear a lot of people calling for Bilic's head.. but who do you want in that we could reasonably attract ? Half the time people don't have that answer...

Re: Big Sam climbs above West Ham.
Whether you like Bilic or not, the question is how realistic is it that we could get a truly world-class manager? Think how many times we have been linked with top - and highly expensive players - who have inevitably gone for clubs at or close to the level where they can win cups or the league.

The irony is that if he could get us into the top 5 or 6 for a couple of seasons then no further, it might be easier to attract a big name.

Stoneman

I do agree that it is nice to have loyalty especially when it is so rare these days in football. Billic knows the what the fans want to see and even if he is sacked, all west ham fans would still think of him highly.

The problem is that the premier league is a results business. Our owners wanted to change our tradition and heritage in order to "take us to the next level" - probably more linked to financial benefit in their eyes then for the good of the club. I would love to see us actually win something other than promotion in my lifetime. I can't see us winning anything with Billic in charge as much I like him as a fan. Billic's decisions are just crazy at times, even the simple things like playing a high performing winger in antonio at right back when it was obvious to the fans it is just not working.

If we are not going to push the club forward to try and win honours, we might aswell have stayed at Upton Park and providing we play entertaining football and good results against the top teams, maintaining our PL status each year, I would be happy.

Now we are in the shit bowl, we have to hope our owners can actually deliver success, which I know for a fact they are totally incapable of doing, but one can still hope.

There are arguments for keeping Bilic but loyalty is a stupid reason for a club that is actually a big business and wants to progress to another level.

My dog is loyal but that's because he doesn't have the brain power for logical thought.

But yes you are right it is a bit weird that I show unwavering support for our manager but then I did the same for Lyall.

I'm sorry but I'll never be one of those who wets his knickers after a few defeats, I'm an old school West Ham fan who believes in loyalty.

Most? I think it's a minority but they are the ones who shout loudest.

Stoneman, u love billic.... we get it...its abit wierd.

ur endless post bumping and 'i told you so' is embarrasing. Reality is u have not proved anything, and in order for the club to progress most people on here have good evidence to suggest changing manager would be positive for the club.

If billic had performed so good, why hasn't the dildo brothers given him a new contract?

So we've moved 4 points above the mighty BFS at Palarse!

Hardly a reason to be so smug stoneman when Bilic admitted his target was top 7 earlier this season.

The only downside of getting rid of Bilic would be relying on David Sullivan's dodgy judgement on selecting a new manager because by any other standards Bilic deserves the sack in a results based business

If it was a point scoring table then I'd be top, you Bilic out freaks have embarrassed yourself whilst I sit proudly and smugly at the top of the table.

Yep, that sounds convincing. You bumped yet ANOTHER thread because you can't resist trying to point score, you little fucking weasel. Grow up.

He does have a group he could build well on, as long as he keeps them up. They're not going to do a Leicester, but they shouldn't be flirting with relegation.
